French-eTutor Download Center

In order to ensure a great experience while using this software, here are three (3) simple requirements your computer should meet: [Caution: First, you must be logged in  as a member to initiate the download. Registering is 100% free and takes only a couple of minutes. ]

1. Operating System: Windows only! (Mac-users, you can still have full access to the same activities and flashcards online.
2. Adobe Flash Player (version 9, at least!) – Go to the Adobe website to verify if you have it.  (If you use Internet Explorer, you may encounter the annoying “Click to “Allow Content” or “Allow ActiveX”. Comply with it and everything should run smoothly or simply use a different browser like Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
3. Make sure your web browser supports Java and that it is enabled. If you’re not sure,  go to the Java tester web site to verify . Chances are your “modern” browser does and you should be okay. But if you doubt, you may want to double-check. This software is still in its beta version, and your comments, especially the most honest ones, are very welcome!!!

      Harry,
Thank you for your interest! If you’re talking about these particular e-training software, you can certainly use them offline. You just need a web browser (even if you’re not connected to the Internet). As for the other resources included here, some (the recent ones) can only be accessed online. But the older ones (contained in the Youtube Downloads menu bar) can be first downloaded as PDF documents, then used offline as you wish.
      I hope this helps!
      Merci!
      Herman
