Bonjour,

In order to properly use commands with tu, you will have to refer to their imperative forms. I can give you a few examples, of course, but they need to be learned systematically since many of these verbs do not follow a similar pattern in their conjugations.

But I can tell you that for ER-verbs, (manger, parler, danser, etc.) you simply delete the R at the end of the infinitive to obtain the imperative form with tu, or you can also use the simple tense conjugation of such a verb and delete the final S —> tu manges will become: mange ! (eat!) ; tu parles will become: (parle !) (speak!)
but there are IR verb, RE verbs etc as well and it’s a different story.
