EXERCISE WEEK 10 – LEÇON 1 1 Exercice: Translate into French the sentences below.
1) Bob is sitting (assis) between René and Tom.
a) Bob est assis entre Rene et Tom.

2) The clothes are not in this room (salle).
b) Les clothes n’est pas dans ici salle.

3) Chris and Tom are going somewhere.
c) Chris et Tom sont veut quelque part

4) The blue pants are on the table.
d)La pantalons bleus sont sur le table.

5) Joanne combs her hair in front of the mirror.
e) Joanne peigne ses chaveux devant la glace.

6) Joanne puts on make up next to him.
f) Joanne se maquille a cote de lui.

7) There are three yellow shirts behind the chair.
g) Y-a- t-il trios chemises jeaune derriere la chesis.

The students are sitting around the professor.
h) Les etudients sont assesses atour du professeur.

9) Why do you eat under the table?
j) Pourquoi menges-tu sous la tableau.

10) There aren’t many (beaucoup de) students around the professor.
Y a t-il ne sont pas beaucoup etudients atour du professeur.

Thanks for posting your answers. Exercise 1 is all fine.
As for exercise 2:
–>1) How does he walk (marcher)? The answer should be “Comment marche-t-il?” or “Comment est-ce qu’il marche?”
–>3) How do you work? (double check the spelling of the verb “travailler”. It should be “Comment est-ce que tu travaiLLes?” with 2 Ls.
–>4) The answer should be “Comment est-ce qu’elle danse?”
–> 5) How do we shave? = “Comment est-ce que nous nous rasons?” or “Comment nous rasons-nous”?

Exercise 1: Translate into French the following sentences.

Does he walk fast? –> Marche-t-il rapidement?

Why do you walk fast? –> Pourquoi marches-tu rapidement?

Why does she never walk fast? –> Pourquoi ne marche-t-elle jamais rapidement?

Does Roger walk fast? –> Roger marche-t-il rapidement?
