Adverbial phrase – locution adverbiale
Let's Define It!
What's an *adverbial phrase*?
An adverbial phrase is a group of words working as an adverb.
Please remember that verbs aren't included adverbial phrases
When I say, for example, "Elle chante très bien" [She sings very well], both très and bien taken together form an adverbial phrase.
Adverbial phrases play the same functions adverbs do, including modifying verbs, adjectives, other adverbs, etc.
