What are the *indefinites*?
Les indéfinis as they are called in French are words indicating identity or quantity in a non-specific manner.
In French, you can distinguish 3 main types of indéfinis:
- les pronoms indéfinis (quelqu'un, quelque chose, nul(le), etc.) indefinite pronoun
- les adjectifs indéfinis (quelques, certain(e)s, etc.) indefinite adjective
- les locutions adverbiales indéfinis (n'importante quand, n'important comment, etc.) indefinite adverbial phrase

- Certains enfants sont maltraités. (Some children are abused. ) --> indefinite adjective
