Let's Define It!
What's an *irregular* word?
A word (noun or verb usually) is said to be irregular (irrégulier) when this word does not follow any clear and predictable pattern.
For example, the French verb aller (to go) in the present tense is irregular and its conjugation shows it very clearly:
je vais, tu vas, il va, nous allons, vous allez, ils vont.
Likewise, the noun oeil (eye) is also irregular in its plural declension: yeux (eyes) does not take the *normal* added to most plural nouns.
