What's a *semi-regular* verb?
The expression semi-regular is one that is usually assigned to describe some French -er verbs that display a mostly regular conjugation, but whose spelling will change slightly because of some pronunciation variations.
For examples, the semi-regular verbs ending in the following manners experience some spelling changes for reasons linked to their pronunciations
-CER, -GER, -E*ER, -É*ER, -TER, -LER, -YER.
