What's the *third person singular*?

In French, the third person singular (la troisième personne du singulier) relates to the il, elle, on form (he, she and it [or we/you/people] respectively) of a verb, representing the person or thing that is being spoken about.

N.B. Although the pronoun on takes a singular verb form in French, it often represents the plural entity (we) --> nous.
